Mark Butler, candidate for National President, will speak about Party Reform and Democratisation at Trades Hall Auditorium, 377 Sussex Street, at 6.00pm on Wednesday May 16.
Admission is $5.00, which includes annual membership of Local Labor NSW.

Mark Butler is campaigning on a platform of party reform including calling for party members to be allowed to vote for positions including state leaders, and Senate candidates and to rebalance the role of the unions in the Party.
There are a total of four candidates. In ballot paper order, the candidates are:

- Wayne Swan (Member for Lilley, Queensland; web, facebook)
Eligible members will be able to vote online, commencing 4 May. Postal vote packs should start arriving Monday 7 May. Other eligible members will be contacted by email.
All votes must be received by 5 pm AEST, 15 June.
